Early morning departure in a journey along the Panamericana Norte Highway for 182 km. Continue on for a non-paved road to Caral. World Heritage listed site covers an area of around 60 hectare and recent excavations revealed an elaborate complex of temples, plazas and some of the largest pyramids in the world. Caral’s antiquity makes Peru one of the seven cradles of civilization. After visiting this extense sacred city which redefined the history of urban society, enjoy a traditional lunch in a nearby town. Return to Lima. Arrive to your hotel at the end of the afternoon.
