Day 1 Lima

Upon arrival to Lima, transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 Lima

Half day tour of colonial and modern Lima, “The City of the Kings”. Visit the magnificent 17th century San Francisco Convent and its unique cloisters. Stroll to the Main Square where the Government Palace and the Cathedral are located. You will appreciate wood carved balconies in the facades of the colonial mansions and beautiful churches that host masterpieces. Continue on to the modern area through residential districts and enjoy a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean.

Optional: Larco Museum

Visit the Larco Museum to appreciate an extensive pottery collection, and gold and silver artifacts. Have an in-depth look at the Andean worldview at this prestigious private museum located in an old 18th century colonial mansión, and built on a pre-Columbian pyramid of the 17th century, which displays more than 3000 years of the Pre-Columbian history. You will also appreciate its erotic art section.

Day 3 Lima

Optional: Gourmet experience

Lima has made it to the foodie list in a big way. Morning pick up from your hotel and visit a local roastery where they hand-pick the coffee beans daily for an organic Peruvian coffee. Stroll to the colonial streets of the bohemian district of Barranco, home to artists, musicians and top art galleries. Try a smoothie made of the exotic lucuma fruit and proceed to the financial district of San Isidro to visit a traditional market to try exotic Peruvian fruits. Then continue to one of the city’s top seafood restaurants (cevicheria) and discover the secrets of the perfect ceviche and the national aperitif Pisco Sour. You will prepare the cocktail and the dish with the head chef and bartender before proceeding to a famous restaurant where the King of Spain and Bill Clinton, among other famous people have been delighted with a superb food. Get amazed at the location of the restaurant, within a pre-Inca archaeological complex immerse in the modern city and enjoy a gourmet tasting.

Transfer to the airport to board your flight to the next destination.
