Transfer to the airport. Upon arrival to Cusco, transfer to your hotel at the gorgeous Sacred Valley. En route, visit Awanacancha to meet native weavers and see South American camelid species, including alpacas, vicunas, llamas and guanacos, and make a brief stop at the colorful Pisac market, where you can interact with the artisans and shop for handicrafts and souvenirs before continuing to your hotel, or drive up to Pisac ruins, a truly awesome site with stunning terracing contouring the mountain. This is an impressive reminder of how advanced the ancient civilization was in terms of building and agriculture.
Visit Maras, famous for its salt mines made up of about 3,000 small wells in a reduced area, where the ancient Inca ways working traditions are still preserved. In Moray, discover a very unique archaeological site in the region: in an enormous natural depression, the Incas built amphitheater style irrigated farming terraces where nature created microclimates. It is believed that this was an Inca experimental place to study the adaptation of vegetal species to new ecosystems for human consumption. Lunch at a fine restored hacienda of the valley, the ideal place to make a stop enjoying the traditional Peruvian Cuisine. Visit to the owner’s private collection of Pre-Columbian, Incan and colonial artifacts, and folk art. Proceed to Ollantaytambo, an Inca town with narrow cobbled stone streets and place of a great complex of buildings at its upper part, with an impressive ceremonial center used for water worship. Ollantaytambo, an example of Inca urban planning that is still alive today, is undoubtedly one of the master works of the Incas.
An unforgettable experience. Transfer to Poroy station. Welcome aperitifs before boarding the Belmond Hiram Bingham train, a must for those seeking for luxury. Enjoy a gourmet brunch during the spectacular journey to the breathtaking Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Upon arrival to Machu Picchu town (former Aguas Calientes), you will be driven to the citadel nestled in a location that can only be described as magnificent. Overseeing a deep canyon of the Urubamba River, fine stone carved stairways will take you to ceremonial shrines, the Sun Dial, agricultural terraces, squares and the urban areas. With a history dating back to the 15th century, this enigmatic site where the energy can be felt all around has not revealed yet the mysteries behind its construction. After the guided tour, free time to explore this wonder before proceeding to your hotel for overnight.
Morning at leisure. Optionally, you may wake-up early and visit the citadel again to enjoy the sunrise in one of the world’s most photogenic spots; hike to the Sun Gate or to the challenging Huayna Picchu Mountain (adults only), or climb up to the summit of the Machu Picchu Mountain (entrances must be reserved in advance). Afternoon return to Cusco. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Explore Cusco at your own pace. Visit the impressive Sacsayhuaman Fortress and get the most amazing views of the city center from a top of a hill visiting San Cristobal church. Return to the city center for a morning walking tour including the most famous areas of the city. Visit the Koricancha, known as the Temple of the Sun and the Cathedral, a colonial masterpiece with beautiful wood carvings and places of worship; the twelve sided stone and proceed to San Blas with its artisans´workshops. Afternoon at leisure. Great opportunity for shopping or discovering hidden places.
Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Lima.

Upon arrival, visit colonial Lima, “The City of the Kings” including the magnificent 17th century San Francisco Convent and its unique cloisters and stroll to the Main Square to visit the impressive Cathedral. You will appreciate wood carved balconies in the facades of the colonial mansions and beautiful churches that host masterpieces. Proceed to Larco Museum to appreciate an extensive pottery collection, and gold and silver artifacts. This private museum located in an old 18th century colonial mansion and built on a pre-Columbian pyramid of the 17th century, displays more than 3000 years of the Pre-Columbian history. You will also appreciate its erotic art. Return to the airport for your international departure flight or transfer to your hotel.
