Take a glimpse into the past and nature flying over the enigmatic Nazca lines drawn in the desert soil, and visit the most important marine reserve in the country. Paracas Reserve is located on the shore of the Pacific Ocean on a peninsula with a gorgeous landscape, and the rocky Ballestas Islands are a refuge for sea lions, penguins and birds.
Transfer to the station. Depart by bus for an estimated 3.5-hour ride to Paracas Peninsula. Upon arrival, transfer to Pisco airport for a special flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines. Enormous figures traced on the desert sands and preserved for almost 2000 years that can be seen only from the air, and distributed in a huge labyrinth of lines, trapezoids, triangles, animals such as an enormous monkey or a hummingbird with a wingspan of 100m, are still an enigma. Transfer to your hotel in Paracas and rest of the day at leisure.

An exciting buggy adventure crossing the Paracas desert. From the top of an ideal dune in this singular South American landscape, you can also practice sandboard.
Morning boat ride to Ballestas Islands, inhabited by boobies, sea lions, penguins and seals which showcases wild sealife of the area. From the sea, appreciate the spectacular “candelabro” (chandelier), etched on the desert sands. Transfer to the station and return to Lima by bus. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

This tour can be done in private basis with two-day car and guide at disposal. Opportunity for visiting wineries and vineyards as well as historical places. You may also spend one more night in Paracas and relax by the sea.
